CAN I GET federal financial AID? 

Financial Aid Eligibility

For federal financial aid, you must:

  • Be a US citizen, or an eligible non-citizen
  • Have a high school diploma, GED, or recognized equivalent
  • Be enrolled in an eligible program of study and/or accepted as a certificate or degree seeking student at San Jac
  • Be in good standing with your payments on any federal or state student loan, and any federal grant repayments
  • Take at least the minimum number of hours required by each program

Not Eligible for Federal Aid? Fill out the TASFA!

If you are ineligible for federal financial aid, do not worry! Fill out the Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) to see if you qualify for state-level aid. You must be a state resident.

Our financial aid personnel can help you hold a FAFSA or TASFA workshop. All you have to do is fill out a simple request form! Please keep in mind that:

We will assign a lead person to your event once we receive your application. That lead person will call or email your point of contact within five business days to confirm and finalize event details.
